Anchorpoint exists to strengthen cybersecurity across the superyacht industry. We work alongside Captains, yacht management companies, family offices, and supplier businesses operating in an environment defined by complex onboard systems, constant connectivity, and high-value assets. Cyber risk in yachting is shaped by operational constraints, fragmented responsibility, and sensitive data, yet ownership is often unclear and spread across roles that were never designed to manage it.
Anchorpoint provides dedicated cybersecurity leadership embedded with our clients. We structure and oversee security initiatives end-to-end, helping decision-makers make informed choices, ensuring suppliers are accountable, and eliminating duplicate or ineffective services. By replacing uncertainty with structure and oversight, we help leaders gain control of cyber risk and drive consistent, measurable improvement across their programs.
Our Founder
Matt Roberts
Matt Roberts spent over a decade solving technology problems in the superyacht industry. He started with VSAT and onboard IT, and for the past six years has focused on cybersecurity.
Along the way, Matt repeatedly saw the same pattern. Buyers were anxious. Vendors were fear selling. Progress stalled because trust was missing and no one truly owned the cybersecurity program from the inside.
Matt knew fractional CISO services already existed elsewhere. But they did not exist for superyacht programs or the businesses that support them. Both sides needed the same thing. A trusted, independent cybersecurity partner.
In 2025, Matt pulled the trigger, and Anchorpoint was born. Since then, Anchorpoint has been helping superyachts and suppliers make real cybersecurity progress, quickly, clearly, and with trust at the centre.
