### This week, I ask you to run a proper planning conversation about your onboard cybersecurity for 2026.

This is not about tools. It is about decisions.

Spend 20 minutes, or up to an hour, asking these 9 questions. Write the answers down.

Best of all, this is free to do!

## 1. Where is the money risk? Start here. Always. Ask:

- If someone compromised us, how would they make money?
- Who can move money, approve payments, or change bank details?
- How are those actions verified today?

***Why this matters:*** *Most yacht cyber incidents are not “hacks”. They are email compromise and payment fraud. If you protect the money flows first, you remove the biggest real world risk.*
