If you are going to the Monaco Yacht Show this week, this is the one thing you need to know before you go.
Over the weekend, a significant cyber incident affected some of the largest airports in Europe, including Heathrow. Yesterday, Saturday 20 September 2025, over 47% of flights were cancelled, and today there have been over 40 different flights cancelled out of Heathrow.
If you plan to attend the yacht show this week, be advised to check in advance before travelling. It's not just the cancellations, it's the knock-on effects that we need to be concerned with as well.
There's also an uncertainty about how long this cyber incident may continue. Some airlines, such as British Airways, are using backup systems to circumvent some of these issues. Other airline providers aren't as fortunate and aren't as well-prepared.
Be aware before you travel. This could spoil your week before it's even started. If you are going and you do make it out there on time or slightly later, I wish you a fantastic week at the Monaco Yacht Show.
Unfortunately, I, representing Anchorpoint, won't be there this year. There's a very exciting launch in a couple of weeks that a lot of my time and money are going towards, rather than being at the show, but I certainly look forward to being there in years to come.
And those who can go this year, wishing you all the very best.
