Code of Ethics

At Anchorpoint, we follow the standard Code of Ethics as defined by the (ISC)2.

There are only four mandatory canons in the code. By necessity such high-level guidance is not intended to substitute for the ethical judgment of the professional.

Additional guidance is provided for each of the canons. While this guidance may be considered by the Company in judging behaviour, it is advisory rather than mandatory. It is intended to help professionals identify and resolve the inevitable ethical dilemmas they will face.

Code of Ethics Preamble:

  • The safety and welfare of society and the common good, duty to our principals, and duty to each other, require that we adhere, and be seen to adhere, to the highest ethical standards of behaviour.
  • Therefore, strict adherence to this Code is a condition of certification.

Code of Ethics Canons:

  • Protect society, the common good, necessary public trust and confidence, and the infrastructure.
  • Act honourably, honestly, justly, responsibly, and legally.
  • Provide diligent and competent service to principals.
  • Advance and protect the profession.
